This policy explains what personal data atlantis-servers.com processes and why. The controller is the operator named in the legal notice.

Contact form and email

When you write to us, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to answer you and keep them for as long as the conversation requires, after which they are deleted. Legal basis: your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Server logs

Our web server records technical data for each request, such as IP address, time, page and browser. We use this to run and secure the site, and delete the logs after a short period. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Approximate location and latency tests

To place you on the map and estimate latency, our server looks up the approximate location of your IP address (city level) with freeipapi.com, or ipapi.co if that fails. We keep the result for up to 24 hours, filed under a one-way hash of your IP address, and do not use it for anything else. Your browser also sends a few small test requests to our servers in each city to measure the response time. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies and statistics

The site works without cookies. If visitor statistics are enabled, they only load after you allow them in the cookie notice, and you can withdraw that consent by clearing this site's data in your browser. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We store one entry in your browser's local storage to remember your choice and whether you closed the offer banner.

Ordering a server

Order buttons take you to the checkout of the data center that operates the server. That company processes your order and payment data under its own privacy policy.

Fonts and scripts

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and scripts from the jsDelivr network, which receive your IP address when delivering those files.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Email us at sales@atlantis-servers.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
